First of all, thank you for taking your time to even come to this page. We are Mystwood Games, a self-publishing indie board game company recently founded by three Tufts graduates who are passionate about games and bringing people together.

Why Are We Doing This?

In an ever digitally alienated and AI-saturated world, we want to create board games to provide spaces where friends, families, and even strangers build genuine connections while also still stimulating your mind. What’s the point of it all if you can’t spare a few hours to hang out with the people you love every now and then, right? I am lucky enough to have friends who meet multiple times a week and chat over a board game or play Pathfinder. We want to create a game that bridges both genres and people together: a regular pick for your game nights!

Meet the Team!

Efe

My name is Efe, and I am the project and game design lead of our group. I have been a part of many gaming groups whether they are for board games, TTRPGs, and video games. I always wanted to share a game I make with similar minded people and here I am trying to do that! I am a big fan of strategy games and games with a lot of player interactions, whether it be cooperative, backstabbing, or all out competitive games. My favorite board games these days are War of the Ring, Civilization (the one from 1980 and takes 12 hours to play), and Nemesis.

I also have another awesome co-founder, Anatoliy.

Anatoliy

Anatoliy has been passionate about board games since his family taught him to play “Star Armada”, a popular game in Eastern Europe, when he was 6 years old. Some of his favorite memories with family and friends have always been connected to playing a board game together and, most importantly, having fun while doing so.
